nothing special according to a 5 stars hotel
the stuff is cold and unfriendly-they charge 6 euros a bottle of water in the room instead of complimentary offer, the least they could do with not a real cost and last but not least, a simple tea costs at their bar 6.5 euros!!!!

Excellent hotel for the price. Will definitely stay here if visiting Berlin in future.
Very nice hotel, with great facilities and excellent staff. Handy for Tegel Airport and walking distance to major attractions.
Only complaint would be quality of Wi-Fi and 15min walk to metro.

Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable - for this 5 star hotel the price we paid was exceptional value. Good location with easy bus/walk access to major sights.

Very polite friendly helpful staff - very good food (if a little expensive) - large spacious rooms- good views- very comfortable and clean.
Not a complaint but staff did enter the rooms without giving occupants time to ensure privacy etc. Had to remeber to place a do not disturb sign on door otherwise they just enterd.

Quiet location -- there was a bus stop within 100 yards of the hotel, so we were able to get into the centre and all the sights easily -- the number 100 bus passes almost all the places of interest. Hotel staff very polite and helpful. Food in the Eck restaurant was good and reasonably priced -- something to suit everyone's pocket as well as their appetite.
No tea/coffee in the rooms. The bottle of water on the welcome tray was charged to the room bill -- an exorbitant £6!!!!!

I enjoyed amazing breakfast, hotel's good location.
The room was stylish and neat with a multi-channel television, a seating area and a writing desk. Incredibly kind and consistently courteous staff who were ready to help and answered our questions.

The room was very spacious and bathroom good .Very quiet at night which was also good.
Location isn't very good for restaurants and is quite far from the centre.Breakfast was expensive and food in the hotel generally was over-priced ,although good quality.

It made mornings easier! The location was perfect, great to explore Berlin's attractions with our family.
In my wife's opinion, the room could have used a kettle for convenience.

The rooms are large, seem quite new, clean and well-equipped
1. it is not very close to any U station. 2. For this level of luxurious hotel, to charge for the bottled mineral water in the room and the high rate of using the internet in the room are very unfriendly.

We explored the Brandenburg Gate and checked out Museum Island. The breakfast was great! Definitely spring for it at least one morning!
The air conditioning in our room was spotty. We asked about it at check-in, but it wasn't fixed . Kind of uncomfortable with the heat.

Very friendly staff. Lovely hotel. Accommodated our poor attempt at German with good humour! The hotel overlooked the river and was in a peaceful location. It wasn't as remote as some of the reviews would have you believe and as long as you are not complete against walking anywhere, it is perfectly manageable and there are cabs outside the door 24/7 and a bus stop right around the corner anyway. Potsdamer platz shopping centre is about 10 mins walk away in one direction and the Europa centre shopping centre is about 10 mins the other way and the Tiergarten is less than 5 mins. Very easy to find your way around and the staff offer any information you may need. Lovely food from each restaurant. Really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
No tea & coffee making facilities in the room, perhaps because they sell beverages downstairs? The breakfast selection was very good but we indulged on only 1 day as the price is just way too high. Booked.net has it listed as 18 euro each, but we were charged 19 euro each. We later discovered some of the hotels near by offer breakfast under the heading of "is your hotel breakfast too expensive" for much less and if you search the local area a little, there are some nice cafe's that offer breakfast at a reasonable price. We had a massage each, which were ok, but not really anything special and therefore too expensive. Drinks very expensive for common beers/wines found in Netto around the corner with a minimum 2000% mark up.

The central location was great, very close to the major sights and only a short walk to shops and the zoo. Hotel staff were all excellent and very helpful.
The pool was a bit on the cold side, and the sauna isn't to the 5 star standard we were expecting.
